Dear Visitor,
I want to welcome you to the Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church. I would like to introduce you to some of our Student and Children’s programs.
Here at Chinquapin we like to take every opportunity available to us to teach, plant seeds, and invest in the lives of our children. The Bible is taught in many settings:
On Sunday morning we have Sunday School classes for all ages. We have Children's Church available for ages 4 - 9 years old during our worship service on Sunday morning.
On Wednesday night we offer the AWANA program for ages 3 - 6th grade. AWANA (which runs during the school year) starts at 6:30pm and goes to 8:15pm each Wednesday night. During the summer months our focus turns to missions and we have R.A.'s, G.A.'s and Mission Friends. This program runs from 7-8.
As for our student Ministry:
We also have Sunday School for everyone during our Sunday School hour. On Sunday nights our Students will worship together with our entire church and often afterwards have some fellowship time together, typically at the Youth Center across the street.
On Wednesday night our High School (9th -12th grade) Junior High (6th - 8th grade) will meet at the Community Center (approximately 1 mile from the church on Walnut Grove Road). We meet from 6:30pm to 8:00pm each Wednesday. This is a time of Bible Study, worship, games, snacks, discipleship and fellowship.
Friday nights are a special time of Student Led Bible Study starting at 7:30. This is a study started by students for students out of their hunger for the Word. This is where Students take turns teaching and developing their leadership skills.
Our Student Ministry attends several camps, retreats, concerts, and events throughout the year.
